Annual Prize

Each year NEBOSH presents an award to the best candidate in the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety. We are delighted that in support of the Foundation, NEBOSH agreed to change the name of this annual award to the Ian Whittingham Prize. This change took effect from the 2010 Graduation and Awards Ceremony.

What's it for?

The Ian Whittingham Prize is awarded to the candidate achieving the highest overall marks in the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety over the previous 12 months.

When and where does it take place?

The Graduation and Awards Ceremony takes place every June at Warwick University.

Prizewinners

The prizewinner for the 2010 Ian Whittingham Prize is Rebecca Churnside of Sir Robert McAlpine. Rebecca joined the company as a sponsored student 3 years ago while studying at Edinburgh University and has worked for them in Scotland ever since.
